Michael R. Bubrig is a seasoned executive and electrical engineering professional with over two decades of experience in the power, oil & gas, and industrial construction sectors. A native of New Orleans, he graduated from Jesuit High School in 1992 and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1999. During his undergraduate years, he gained hands-on experience working summers as an electrical apprentice on various industrial and oil & gas construction projects.

Michael began his professional career in 2000 with Entergy, a leading utility provider, where he served as Assistant Project Manager overseeing transmission construction projects across Arkansas. In 2001, he joined MEITEC, an electrical and instrumentation contractor, initially supporting the refurbishment of the ENSCO 64 drilling rig in Brownsville, Texas. Upon completion of the project, he relocated to the Houston area to help establish and grow MEITEC’s newly opened office.

Over the years, Michael has held multiple leadership roles at MEITEC, including Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Estimator, Business Development Lead, Director of Projects, Chief Operating Officer, and ultimately Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership, MEITEC has undergone significant transformation and growth:

Introduced a structured management hierarchy with middle-level leadership
Developed and implemented formal procedures across safety, procurement, estimating, project management, and operations
Established robust project controls to enhance execution and accountability
Expanded the company’s client base and cultivated long-term industry relationships
Diversified MEITEC’s market presence into Power, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Renewable Natural Gas, Solar, Semiconductor, Data Center, and Modular Electrical Buildings
