Zak launched his career building accounting management systems forlarge commercial property clients. He transitioned to Eagan Insurance Agency in 2009, building an insurance network that allowed him to draw from expertise planning, directing and executing the financial strategy and risk mitigation for commercial clients, many of whom he continues to work with today.

He continues to serve as Vice President of Eagan Insurance Agency following the firm’s partnership with Higginbotham in 2024.
Zachary was named a 'Readers' Favorite Insurance Agent' by Inside New Orleans Magazine in 2023and was featured in the "Ones to Watch" column of New Orleans City Business. He has bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the College of Charleston.
